Who Are We?

Pilgrims are popular around Thanksgiving every year, but we try to keep their memory alive year round. Our society is a group of people who can trace back their lineage to one or more ancestors who sailed on the Mayflower. Our members are 9th-13th generation descendants of the Pilgrim passengers.

We meet twice a year over lunch and discuss a variety of topics. It's a great opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. We discuss the business of the society: comings and goings, elections, our financial state. We often have a presenter who speaks on a topic relevant to the our society.

During the 2000-2001 school year we gave a $500 scholarship to a high school student who wrote the best paper about the Pilgrims. This year we are holding the competition at Madison Central High School.
